No, no, no-not my life. I read this in the Lowell Sun recently. Some guy named Bergman said it and he is out giving lectures around the state. Pretty sweet gig. Doesn't that confirm your feeling that the cult of Man Made Global warming is a religion and Al Gore is their holy man. Now, sitting with Jesus and listening to him certainly changed the disciples' lives. They went out and changed the world. And they were martyred for their beliefs and preaching. Even today a saving relationship with Jesus changes lives. But Al Gore? Don't you have to be right to be holy? Around here this winter we've had about 4 or 5 feet of global warming. And the temp has been pretty normal. I read somewhere the other day that the snowpack in North America is the heaviest in 50 years. I know --all of you GW alarmists feel that not only higher temps but lower temps and average temps are all evidence of Man Made Global Warming. I'm not buying it yet. I feel this could be the start of a new period of Global Cooling and my followers are Coolingarians--actually Coolingarian Universalist.
I want in on the ground floor of this new religion. I missed the carbon credit bonanza and I'm not going to let it happen again. As of today I am selling
carbon debits for those of you who aren't using enough carbon to keep the earth warm. My web site is
www.letthegoodtimesroll.com. Make sure to have your credit card handy when you get on the site. If you don't have a computer handy just call (800/555-givemeabreak). What do you get for the money? I promise to take the money and buy a bigger house than Al Gore with even fewer green features. I'll ride in chartered planes and limos and when I get enough I'll build another of these houses. And more cars and maybe build an energy inefficient hotel and mall. There is no limit to what I will do with your money. After all, it is for the children. And I want to beat Al Gore to this bonanza. And you don't have to worship me, just pay me. All in all, it's abetter deal than global warming. It's a win-win.Now, am I sure that we are going into a period of cooling? Not really, but at least as sure as those who prophesied it in the 70's were. And my science is just as believable as the alarmists are today. And I am an honest man--I am in it for the money and power.
